Also known as: Soccer had another name which was ''Football''.
Origin of name: The name comes from Britain, because they made that word and also brought it to us today.
Invented/created by: The name of the creator was Ebenezer Cobb Morley, He was born in Kingston upon Hull.He wrote toBell's Life newspaper so that he can suggest a governing body for soccer. In a place called Barnes, he served the Surrey County Council for justice and peace. He also died there when he was 93 years old. The country of orgin was England.

Highest international body: Highest international body is THE FIFA anthem which consists of the FIFA World Cup, FIFA Women's World Cup, FIFA U-20 World Cup, FIFA U-17 World Cup, Football at the Summer Olympics, FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, and FIFA Women's U-17 World Cup.
United States body: U.S Futsal is the organization in the United States that has been providing soccer.
USA Pro Level Association: The highest professional group in the United States is the Major League Soccer.
Local Organizations: Some of the organization groups include the American Youth
Soccer Organization, the SOCA, and also the Co-Recreational League.
College that offers Sport: In Clalifornia, there are many colleges that offer soccer like California State University(Fresno, Los Angeles, Northridge,etc.) , Claremont Mckenna College, and Harvey Mudd College.
BASICS
Objective: The purpose of soccer is to score as many points on the opposing team.
5 basic rules: Here are the five basic rules in soccer:
a. The game is started with a kick off.
b. A corner kick is awarded when the defending team kicks the ball to the defensive goal line.
c. A goal kick is awarded when the opposing team kicks the ball over to the offensive goal line.
d.. A goal is scored once the ball fully goes inside the goal line.
e. You must wear certain clothes to be eligible to play.
number of players: There are 11 players in each team. They include 10 individual players and 1 goalie.
scoring system: HOW DO THE TEAMS/INDIVIDUALS SCORE POINTS The individual players score points by trying to kick the ball to the goal pass the goalie.
surface/court/field of play description: Based on the soccer field, the penalty box is the area where the goalkeeper handles the ball and also where the penalty kick is taken place at. The midline is there to split the field in half and to also mark the side the player is on. The center circle is where the ball is kicked off from. The goal box is the area in which a goal kick is taken from. In each corner, there is an area where corner kicks are taken. Also, in the touchline, the players are responsible of throwing the ball with 2 HANDS if the ball left the court.
