creating and playing your own recorder section
The standard is MUSIC 1.2.
1. This assignment relates to the standard because this in this assignment, we had to create our own musical rythms using notes we've learned in class. We had to write it in this music sheet in the recorder section. Then, we had to practice it and perform it in front of the whole class. Some notes that we should include are sixteenth notes, quarter notes, dotted notes, half notes, eighth notes, and much, much more! For each bar, we have to fill it with notes up to 3 beats.
2. Here are the following steps:
a. I thought of and wrote down notes for 4 measures on a paper.
b. I copied it on the paper Mr. Lee gave me.
c. I practiced it and got ready to perform in front of the class.
3. This assignment demonstrates that I'm able to understand what each note is known for. I'm able to use this knowledge so that I can be able to make my own composition on the recorder section. Also, I'm was to get a good grade , perform in front of the class, and win a prize, along with some other people.
4. I could have improved by keeping on rythm even though I got a good score. I should practice on that. Also, I could've add some more simple notes.
5. I can apply this to the real world by playing music in other places ( not sure, but could happen) and I'll be using this knowledge to learn something new in college.
