eoty cumulative project
7.1 Students analyze the causes and effects of the vast expansion and ultimate disintegration of the Roman Empire.
7.9 Students analyze the historical development of the Reformation.
1. This project relates to the standards because it was about picking to units that we have learned throughout this year and we had to talk about facts about this specific country(for me, I picked Rome and the Reformation). So, I had to talk about the problems in Rome and during the Reformation. We had to also talk about why we learn this and what did the United States learn from this. For the introduction paragraph, we had talk about why we study history.
2. Here are the following steps it took me:
a. I first picked two units that I wanted to talk about.
b. I wrote 2 paragraphs for each unit based on the paper Ms. Park gave me.
c. I added one more paragraph for the introduction.
d. I then got poster so that I can write everything down.
e. Finally, I put some pictures for each paragraph, except for the introduction paragraph.
3. This project demonstrates that I'm able to remember some of the facts from the units that were covered throughout the year. I was able to give a really good explanation about why we study history. Also, I was able to make nice drawings based on the paragraphs I wrote.
4. I could have improved my work on this project by printing out pictures. If I actually did print pictures, it'd would have probably look much more realistic. Also, I could have improved on making some of my paragraphs longer and more detailed.
5. i can apply this to the real world when I get a job. When I have to give out presentations, maybe I can organize it like the EOTY project. In that way, I can be more organized and I can present my power point or model.
