The Jews were having a lot of trouble through out their lives which caused them to move a lot. For instance, there was an Exodus going on. The Jews went to Egypt, the new pharoh treated them as slaves. So, Moses led the Jews back home, Canaan. They fought other rulers and finally got back to Canaan. The Jews moved from king to king which were Saul, David, Solomon, and then Rehoboam. There was also the Babylonian Captivity going on. King Nebuchadnezzar destroyed Solomon's Temple and then sent them there. And then, Cyrus the the Great saved them there and then built the temple. The Syrians were teaching the Jews Greek culture and made them make offerings to the gods. When some Jews didn't do so, the Syrians put Greek gods in the Solomon's Temple. So, that caused them to fight back. The Romans called Juda Judea, and they had to pick the leaders for the Jews. The Jews, which were Zealots, led a rebellion, which caused the Romans to bring General Vespasian to crush them.
