1. This assignment relates to the standard because this test was about solving equations and equations in word problems. In the word problems, we had to figure out if we either use distributive property or just two step. Also, we had to understand the word problem so that we could use the right operation. For example, in a question about perimeter, we had to use addition and distributive property.
2. Here are the following steps:
a. I studied and practiced some problems on my homework.
b. I spend time on the test and read them carefully.
c. I doubled checked it.
d. Turned it in.
3. This test demonstrates that I understand the two kind of equations and how to solve the word problems that has to do with it. Also, it demonstrates that I know what I'm doing.
4. I could have improved by studying more instead of solving the problems on my homework. For instance, I could have went on my math teacher's weebly and do some extra problems to help me on the test.
5. I can apply this to the real world when I do chores around the neighborhood. Let's say I wanted to buy a bicycle for 64 dollars. If I do chores for 9 hours and I get 6 dollars per hour, then that'll give me 54 dollars. Then, if I mowed the lawn for 10 dollars, I will have that bike in no time.
