exploring density
1. This assignment relates to the standards, 8a. and 8b, because in this assignment, it was simply knowing about density. We had to know what density=Mass/Volume, and that the only way to find the density is to know the values of the object's volume and mass. For this assignment, we had to use 6 objects and place them in water. The reason for placing them in water is to find the volume. We can tell the volume buy seeing how much water is being risen since the object is taking space. Also, we have to use a scale to find the mass of the objects. Then, after that, we find the density using the volume and mass.
2. One SEP that I have shown was using mathematics. I was able to use the measurements so that I can find the density of the objects.
3. One SEP I could have improved on was interpreting the data. I was always being too exact with my results and I should have just stuck with the estimated one.
4. I can apply this to the real world when I have to work in a chemistry lab( that's my possible dream job). I'll have to know certain measurements and calculations since I will need to how much I'll put and if the amounts are edible to the formula to produce the medicine.
