Breaking through culminating project reflection sheet
RL7.2 1. This assignment relates to the standard because this project is based on the book Breaking Through. I had to do one idea, and I decided to do a sculpture of the main character as well as writing a page of how the character develops throughout the book. For the sculpture, I made it look like the body with the character of Pachito, which is the main character.
2. Here are the steps:
1. I used play do with different colors and pieces of cardboard to make my sculpture.
2. I used my book to help me find events for my page assignment.
3. Then, I did my weebly reflection about this project.
4. I also used sticks to hold the head for my sculpture.
3. This assignment demonstrates that I'm able to write a full page about the character. Also, I'm able to understand certain details to help me write it. Another thing I'm able to do is make a nice sculpture using some materials.
4. I can improve on this assignment by using better materials to make it look better. For instance, I could've used harder materials to make it more stable and a little bit more realistic. Also, maybe for my writing, I could have added more relevant information that would show how the character develops throughout the book.
5. I can apply these skills to the real world by doing other projects in other classes or in high school. I can also use my writing skills in university to write a report to my professor. And, eventually, I can use models, which can sort of be like my sculpture, in my job.
